Virtual – Eastern Canada

The Catholic Church recommends Engaged Couples meet with a priest or deacon at least six months before their wedding date.

Some dioceses may require more than six months, so it’s best to contact the parish as soon as possible after getting engaged.

Engaged couples are encouraged to begin the marriage preparation process at least six months to a year before their desired wedding date.

Details

The CEE Weekend is best experienced as an in-person weekend. However, if CEE Weekend programs are unavailable in your area or you are separated by distance or you cannot attend in person, please consider attending one of the Virtual CEE Weekends. Each district will accept couples from other regions around the world. Presentations are in English only.

Course Completion Certificate

After the weekend you will receive the course completion certificate by email, which is accepted in Catholic Churches as proof of completing the requirements for a marriage prep course. Please confirm with your parish priest all the requirements you will need to prepare for your blessed sacrament of marriage.

Cancellation Policy

Your registration is NOT CONFIRMED until your payment is received.

REGISTRATION for each weekend is confirmed and finalized ONLY ON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT.
Sending the form by itself without the weekend fee will not hold your spot.
If you decide to cancel your registration, a fee of $50.00 will be retained for administrative costs.
